Job Description

Administration and Academic Officer (VET) Working closely with a dynamic administration team, this role focuses on ensuring smooth operations for these courses while also contributing to NIDA’s major events like Graduation, Welcome Week, and Open Day. Additionally, the postholder will provide vital support to teaching staff, helping create a seamless learning experience for students. You bring extensive experience working with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and a strong background in administration and project management. With excellent organisational skills and a keen attention to detail, you thrive at managing competing deadlines and working effectively under pressure. You have a proven ability to solve problems in dynamic environments, particularly during organisational change and continuous improvement. As a collaborative team player, you communicate clearly and maintain a solutions-focused attitude, while demonstrating proficiency in a variety of administrative tools, including Microsoft Office, student management systems like Paradigm, and learning platforms such as Canvas. You work independently, taking initiative to develop efficient processes, and excel at managing multiple tasks with tight timelines. The base annual salary is $82,853 gross per annum + 11.5% Superannuation, based on a 38-hour working week.
