This is an exciting opportunity to join the Melanoma and Surgical Oncology Department at Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) Hospital. As a quaternary referral centre, RPA treats the largest number of melanoma cases in NSW each year, with melanoma being Australia’s third most common cancer. The department is seeking a motivated administrative professional with a strong focus on customer service and attention to detail. While the position is based within the Cancer Service Ambulatory Service, it is part of the Ambulatory Care Business Unit (ACBU), which oversees the centralised workforce structure for all administrative staff within RPA’s Ambulatory Care services. Ideal Candidate Has practical experience with or understanding of Medicare billing in a public hospital. Able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environment. Understands policies and procedures within NSW Health and how these apply in the workplace in particular, the importance of patient confidentiality. Benefits and Perks!
