The Finance Officer is pivotal to the effective financial management of our school, ensuring compliance with ACT Directorate financial management and legislation. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, families, and the wider school community, as well as a considerable degree of independence to manage workflow and prioritisation of tasks. The Finance & Compliance Officer will work closely with the Business Manager to ensure our financial and compliance requirements are met and assist in the Front Office Admin area. The ideal candidate will have finance experience, be resourceful, passionate about working with students and young people, and committed to working collaboratively to optimise improved outcomes for the students. The successful applicant should demonstrate high-level organisational skills and proficiency in the use of a variety of computer applications, databases, and spreadsheets, or demonstrate an ability and willingness to learn.
