The successful applicant will be an instructional leader who builds strong, respectful and productive relationships with all members of the school community and provides strategic leadership, coaching and mentoring support to implement school programs and initiatives. Erindale College's purpose is to meet students where they are at and take them where they want to go. This position supports the development and implementation of Pathway programs at Erindale College. This position is responsible for the delivery of Vocational learning programs, career programs and student pathways. You will assist in the delivery of the Career and Transition plan at Erindale and contribute to work experience programs, industry pathways, VET pathways and ASbA's. You will support the leadership team and engage with school Careers staff and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure their complex needs are understood and prioritised. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders to understand business requirements and work collaboratively to enable the successful pathways for Erindale College students. The role requires highly developed written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including business and industry. The role requires you to work with the community, prioritise time and resources effectively and be passionate about what you do and committed to making a difference. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Implementing transition services and programs to assist students to successfully transition into and out of the college sector. Conducting career guidance in accordance with their level of qualification. Supporting the implementation of quality workplace learning programs (Work Experience, Structured Workplace Learning, Vocational Learning Options and other VET programs including Australian School-based Apprenticeships). Assisting students to access and engage in vocational learning pathways. Advising students around package requirements, especially around E course integration and tertiary pathways. Supporting the implementation of School Career Website, Inplace, Careers Expo. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Possession of a current driver’s licence and access to a private vehicle.Permanent resident of Australia.Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
