Job Description

Details: Property and Government Insourcing Groups (P&GI) Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) Team is responsible for the delivery of both planned and reactive repairs and maintenance (R&M) services as well as building and property upgrades. P&GI are looking to fill one Permanent position and temporary positions for a 12-month contract with possibility of permanency. The Procurement Officer will play a critical role in supporting Senior Project Officers in preparing project tender documentation and record management structures. To succeed in this position, you will need to demonstrate skills and experience in drafting procurement documents, drafting contract documents, and coordinating procurement activities. You will be a self-starter and highly motivated to succeed with strong stakeholder engagement skills and attention to detail. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Relevant training and/or qualifications in procurement, contracting, or property management are highly desirable. Relevant experience in construction contract administration and procurement is highly desirable. Relevant experience in local or federal government procurement is highly desirable. Hold a current driver’s licence (car). Notes: Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. This position is based in an activity-based working (ABW) environment. Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
