Job Description

THE ROLE: You will be responsible for managing the delivery of the performance program within Austrade, as well as providing additional support to our Capability Program Managers as required.DUTIES INCLUDE: Program Management – you will work within a high performing team and be responsible for the delivery of the Performance program at Austrade. This program comprises performance management practices that support professional/career development, set clear expectations of all employees, and enable all employees to contribute to our organisation’s success. Strategic Advisory – you will partner with business units to co-design and deliver improvements to the performance program that address strategic and business challenges. Stakeholder Engagement – you will work closely with strategic external partners and stakeholders to deliver a high-quality performance management program to Austrade staff. Ability to think from an employee and manager’s perspective and how performance practices can be sustainably embedded into their work. Reports – you will draft reports that utilise various information sources to inform strategic priorities for performance management. Research – you will conduct relevant research. Collaboration – you will work collaboratively with the Performance working group to share knowledge and support continual process improvement. Delivery – you will manage the day-to-day delivery of the performance program within the agency including coordinating the performance working group; mapping and communicating the performance process; supporting performance skills uplift of employees and managers; communicating and engaging with the business and stakeholders; and conducting program evaluation processes. Evaluation – you will analyse available data to identify recommendations for program improvements.
