Like all of us at Thiess, you’re a passionate and energetic person, that appreciates responsibility, recognition and reward. 2:1 roster (7D7N7RR) | FIFO Perth to Mount Holland Mine Salary sacrifice options available for applicants outside WA Permanent full-time role with development and upskilling opportunities In this role, you will: Operate machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output Comply with Thiess’ policies and procedures Respond to instructions from Mining Supervisor Ensure floor levels are maintained Minimise dilution and achieve design parameters within acceptable tolerances Maintain stockpiles, dumps and haul roads to ensure flow in a safe and efficient manner Operate, drive and move material as directed to prepare operating areas and roads Set and maintain high housekeeping standards Carry out pre-start checks About you 3 years plus experience operating Excavator, Dozer, Grader, Loader in a production mining operation Equivalent or specific experience operating Liebherr 9200 Experience on any of the following preferred: CAT D10 and Cat 16M Possess strong mining operational skills and demonstrate ability in maintaining pit floors and bunds in a mining production environment Sound knowledge and understanding of ore mark ups and pit configuration Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times What Thiess can do for you Full camp facilities provided High quality food options Thiess’ commitment to training & development Salary sacrifice options – Flights & novated leasing Range of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail products.
