6 month role with possible extension Based in Brisbane CBD Eden Ritchie Recruitment is seeking an experienced Archivist/Records Manager with well-developed written communication and attention to detail skills, to join a Queensland Government statutory body. About the position The position is responsible for information/records/archival management for a Queensland Government statutory body. Role responsibilities: Develop and maintain the Board’s information management systems, policies, processes and procedures for physical and digital records, and contribute to related information security and privacy policies and procedures. Advance the mapping and digitisation of the Board’s archival records to enhance information accessibility and protection of historical records. Contribute to the information requirements to support the Board’s centenary planning, which includes the publishing of a book. Develop and maintain an understanding of the work and history of the Board and the architecture profession in Queensland. Key skills/knowledge: High level experience with information/records/archival management in State Government. Knowledge of current information management (paper and digital) and information privacy legislative requirements and issues. Archives experience – an advantage. Library experience - an advantage. Research/Historian experience/interest – an advantage. High level IT skills – MS Office suite. High level written and oral communication skills.
