A sense of impact, a feeling of achievement Full Time, Permanent Opportunity | $103,908 + superannuation About the Opportunity As part of the Infrastructure Program, the Asset Manager Buildings will provide professional advice and input into the development, implementation, and monitoring of a range of projects and proposals that contribute to achieving the City of Adelaide’s Strategic Plan outcomes. You will provide technical advice and instruction to relevant stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure the City’s assets can perform as intended and are aligned with the strategic objectives. You will also deliver excellent customer service and operate within the Asset Management framework and accompanying documentation to ensure all planned and reactive Building maintenance activities optimise whole-of-life costs and appropriately manage risk, as well as align with our strategic and operational objectives. About You To be successful in this role you will have: Demonstrated experience and high level of proficiency in investigations and design of building projects, including in the delivery of quality assured contract documentation to meet highest industry standards and statutory regulations. Experience in the preparation of project briefs, procurement, and contract management of engineering consultants. Experience in the development of methodologies and procedures associated with quality assurance systems and reviewing, assessing, and making recommendations on performance of benchmark standards associated with design and construction projects. Proficiency in the use of computer-based asset/project management software, scheduling systems, and computer-based financial and information reporting systems. Knowledge of Australian standards, codes of practice, authority regulations, and accepted industry best practice for the design and installation of engineering services associated with infrastructure projects and Local Government public realm projects.
