Planning of planned and corrective maintenance • Ensuring data accuracy & compliance tracking across our AMS• Working closely with the Maintenance & Supply Chain teams About Great River City Light Rail Western Sydney is one of the fastest growing regions in our country, with the population of Greater Parramatta alone set to climb by 50 per cent by 2041. The new Light Rail connects Westmead to Carlingford via the Parramatta CBD and Camellia, spanning 12 kilometres and utilising state-of-the-art vehicles that deliver comfortable, user-friendly and high-performance services. By 2026, around 28,000 people will use Parramatta Light Rail every day and an estimated 130,000 people will be living within walking distance of light rail stops. The role As an integral part of the Asset team at Great River City Light Rail, you will be responsible for the effective planning of both planned and corrective maintenance across the asset portfolio, which includes Rolling Stock and Rail Infrastructure. This will require strong collaboration with the supply chain and maintenance teams, ensuring minimal asset downtime and maximum operational efficiency. Day to day, you will be a key user of our asset management system (HxGN EAM), planning materials required for maintenance tasks and compliance tracking. Additionally, as part of your role, you will oversee regulatory standards, asset certifications and quality assurance. What you bring Your asset maintenance planning experience (rail / transport industry preferred) will be supported by extensive experience using asset management systems (Hx GN, Maximo or similar). Your background will include developing and documenting systems procedures and processes. Given the nature of the role, you will thrive on working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. In addition, you will understand the importance of building and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships and be driven by achieving team goals.
