Where you'll be working : Internal Audit What you'll be doing : Internal Audit is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve an organisation's operations. It helps an organisation accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. Reporting to the Director Internal Audit, the Assistant Auditor/Executive Assistant provides administrative support and assistance to the Internal Audit Directorate, and also supports the Internal Audit team in conducting and documenting audits. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: Extensive experience in a senior administration role or administrative support position, preferably supporting a senior executive. Currently undertaking or completed a relevant tertiary qualification in a management, business, or health-related discipline is desirable or relevant work experience in an environment that required an understanding of risk management, internal control, and quality systems. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interrogate and generate reports from various computer applications and databases and being a systematic and logical thinker i.e. eye for detail, ability to use initiative to problem solve. Current NSW Drivers Licence and willingness to travel within NSLHD.
