3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Direct message the job poster from Pinpoint Talent 12-month contract | Brisbane , Canberra or Sydney location | exciting national project THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking an experienced EL1 Assistant Director, Communications to work within a federal government agency, responsible for providing communication and marketing services across various project teams within the digital health space. In this role you will provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders on effective communications and marketing requirements ensuring that communications are consistent, accurate and aligned to the Agency's strategic objectives and stakeholder needs, and will support the marketing strategy planning, management and production of communications outcomes, contributing to building the Agency's reputation and profile as a leader in digital health innovation. Accountabilities Provide expertise across a broad range of communication and marketing activities, relating to the work of different program areas Deliver significant organisational change through communications and stakeholder engagement Determine the strategic direction for the work area and align longer-term planning with organisational goals and objectives Produce strategic internal communication plans with specific objectives across different channels, ensuring consistent and accurate key messages Manage a range of communication and marketing tasks and activities, ensuring quality outputs Ensure the content meets organisational objectives for all internal communications, including print, digital, and video assets Build capability in the communications and marketing team environment through coaching others and providing performance feedback Responsible for the achievement of team outcomes, monitoring team progress and following through to deliver quality outcomes; establish positioning, identify target audiences and develop internal communications and marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments Please note that you must be an Australian citizen to be considered for this opportunity. This is a contract opportunity for an initial 12-month period, with the potential for further extensions, and can be based in Brisbane, Canberra or Sydney, with great flexible hybrid working options.
