About the Role We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Farm Manager to join our team onsite on our South Australian Farms 9 & 10 located in Paisley SA 5357. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Farm Manager to help manage the day-to-day operations within cutting edge, tunnel ventilated broiler bird farms, providing strong leadership to a small team of approximately three to five staff, in order to ensure cost effective and efficient bird production. As the Assistant Farm Manager, you’ll collaborate with, and provide support to, the farm manager through assisting with all of their duties and responsibilities. About You To thrive in this role, you’ll need: Experience managing broiler farm operations. Strong leadership and team development skills, with a proven track record of achieving operational excellence. A proactive, detail-oriented, and hands-on approach to farm management. High regard for Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards, promoting a positive WHS culture. Physical fitness to perform farm duties, supported by a pre-employment functional assessment (including drug and alcohol testing). The right to work in Australia.
