Your team It's an exciting time for the Brand and Marketing team at Ausgrid as we launch our brand refresh and continue our transformative journey! You will be joining the team during an exciting growth phase, accompanied by a dynamic group of passionate creatives. As part of this team, you will champion and shape Ausgrid’s reputation by partnering with others to build trust, unlock opportunities and enable Ausgrid’s strategy. Working collaboratively with internal and external partners, the team works on a range of projects from promoting safety around electricity, community engagement events or initiatives and supporting the delivery of innovation projects through to developing resources that help improve energy literacy. The team works with the wider business to support our digital channels (website & social), stakeholder engagement (industry & customers) as well strategic partnerships and sponsorships. Your new role As Brand and Communications Lead , you will be pivotal in strengthening Ausgrid's reputation through impactful communication strategies which involves aligning messaging across our diverse activities and stakeholders, solidifying Ausgrid's position as a trusted leader in the energy transition. You will craft educational content highlighting the significance of this transition, encompassing topics like renewable energy adoption, sustainability best practices, and technological innovations in the sector. Ensuring accessibility and clarity, your content will cater to varying audiences. Utilising the power of storytelling, you will champion Ausgrid's positive influence on communities, the environment and the energy landscape. Through a multi-channel approach spanning digital platforms, social media, traditional outlets, newsletters, and public relations, you will support the delivery of Ausgrid’s strategy. Consistency and excellence in messaging and branding will be central in reinforcing our reputation and solidifying Ausgrid as a trusted industry leader. Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Execute Ausgrid’s brand strategy and implementation plan Work with the Strategy Leads and teams to ensure the brand is built to support strategic outcomes Deliver marketing campaigns that meet the marketing strategies, objectives, metrics, and promotional plans that support the brand strategy and build Ausgrid’s reputation Manage budget, review external cost estimates and track monthly spend to keep on budget and maximise brand investments Monitor brand performance and reporting Liaise closely with Public Affairs to ensure consistent messaging across all stakeholders including government and media, co-designing communications with Public Affairs or Internal Communications teams as required Execute various marketing campaigns, media placements, digital marketing, PR, events etc. as required to implement the brand strategy Ensure quality control of communications, with a focus on accuracy, attention to details and brand compliance This is a job-share opportunity, Wednesday – Friday only. You will be a creative thinker with acute storytelling abilities, a natural communicator and strategic in your influencing capabilities. You will also have the following skills & qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Business/Commerce, or another closely related field 5 year’s robust experience in brand management, marketing or communications, ideally within the energy sector or a similar industry Demonstrated proficiency in overseeing and executing comprehensive marketing programs from start to finish Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, showcasing proficiency in establishing and nurturing effective relationships across diverse, internal and external stakeholders Candidates with strong strategic thinking abilities and experience in brand strategy execution within a complex environment are highly desired and encouraged to apply!
