About us The Department of Government Services (DGS) was established on 1 January 2023 to improve everyone's experience of doing business and interacting with the Victorian government. We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses. We are doing this by connecting and digitising our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services. The Common Corporate Platforms (CCP) program team, within Digital Transformation, will deliver modern, cloud-based platforms and process consolidation across WOVG functions for Human Resources, Procurement and Finance. About the role We are looking for a skilled and experienced Communications Lead to join our team. Working as part of a newly established change function with the wider team, you will help us lead communications associated with the SAP SuccessFactors and ServiceNow implementation for three government departments and their entities by: Providing support in the development of communications material to support change management, business readiness, business change support and learning & support activities for the project and the cascading of the change and readiness approach to both internal stakeholders and external partners. Development of a communications and engagement plan in support of the project, identifying communications channels and stakeholders. Working in partnership with the Change and Engagement Manager and project technical and business teams to ensure all required change and communications artefacts are developed on time and in accordance with stakeholder expectations. Working closely with Corporate Shared Services for planned and upcoming Human Capital Management (HCM) implementation activities for DGS, the Department of Premier and Cabinet, and the Department of Treasury and Finance. About you To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate: 4+ years in change and/or project experience. Demonstrated experience leading change activities within a high paced, delivery focussed project-based environment. Experience and knowledge of change management methodologies and tools. Confidently conveys ideas and information in a clear and interesting way. Engages confidently, is an active listener and has excellent oral and written communication skills. Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with people at all levels and from different backgrounds, as well as understand and navigate cultural nuances in a complex Victorian Government environment. Thinks with originality with a focus on continuous improvement. Draws on a range of information sources to identify new ways of doing things. Precision in documenting and tracking changes. Key Accountabilities Conduct Change Analysis and Change Impact Assessments using change methodologies to support change management activities for Digital Transformation. Develop and deliver effective Change Plans and Change reporting, and maintain detailed records of all change requests, approvals, and implementation details. Consolidate data from impacts, readiness assessments, workshops and survey findings to provide inputs to the implementation activities, priorities and reporting. Management and identification of issues and risks relating to stakeholders. Report to the Director and Project Manager functional level on the performance of stakeholder management against agreed plans to ensure effective stakeholder engagement and proactive issue resolution. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal Digital Transformation, Corporate Shared Services and external WOVG stakeholders to enhance business relationships and project delivery; including understanding and managing the impacts of the change and project implementation plan.
