Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Building Regulations Consultant or Senior Building Surveyor to join our Sydney office. This role will play a key part in providing expert advice on building compliance, regulatory assessments, and certification processes for a variety of projects. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert advice on building regulations, codes, and compliance requirements for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Conduct detailed regulatory assessments and audits to ensure projects meet statutory and legislative requirements. Manage the certification process, including liaising with regulatory authorities, clients, and stakeholders. Prepare comprehensive reports, documentation, and technical assessments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including planners, architects, engineers, and developers. Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team. Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Accreditation as an A1, A2, or A3 Building Surveyor (or working towards accreditation). Minimum of 5 years’ experience in building surveying, compliance consulting, or a similar role. In-depth knowledge of the Building Code of Australia (BCA), relevant Australian Standards, and building legislation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
