The position includes but is not limited to: Regulatory compliance assessments of building permit applications for class 2-9 buildings. Attendance to mandatory and non-mandatory inspections with other company registered practitioners. Fire safety auditing and reporting. Essential safety measures auditing and reporting. Manage building permit applications including but not limited to liaison with clients, consultants, local government authorities, reporting authorities and attendance to consultant team meetings. Provide technical advice to clients as required/necessary. The ideal candidate is required to satisfy the following: Extensive knowledge, experience and proven track record with managing building permit applications for class 2-9 buildings. A strong desire to take the next step in their career and further develop their skills over and above that typically achieved in a standard office environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A committed work ethic relishing the opportunity to work with an organisation that sets the industry benchmark. A focus on professional ethics and high integrity. Excellent teamwork skills and a professional attitude. High level customer service. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities. A distinct interest in wanting to work on a wide range of projects and gaining consultancy experience to further develop and complement existing experience. Completed relevant tertiary qualifications in building surveying at minimum the Advanced Diploma of Building Surveying. Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
