Buyer/Planner 2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Buyer/Planner opportunity for a global organisation. Onsite position in Warnervale, Central Coast. Your New Gig As a Buyer/Planner, you’ll be the backbone of the operation. From purchasing finished goods to managing imports from both domestic and international suppliers, you’ll keep the wheels turning. You’ll be working side-by-side with the production supervisor and planner, making decisions that directly impact the flow of goods across borders. No red tape, no micromanagement—just real work that makes a difference. Your goal? Ensuring timely delivery to keep production moving smoothly. You’ll work closely with freight forwarders, production teams, and vendors to make it all happen. About You You’ve spent years honing your skills as a buyer/planner—you know the ins and outs of importing, buying, and supply chain management. When it comes to domestic and international purchasing, you’re confident liaising with freight forwarders and ensuring every delivery goes off without a hitch. Material planning? You’ve got it covered. You know how to interpret buying requirements and manage forecasts with ease. If you’ve had a hand in production planning or have some energy sector experience, consider it a bonus. If not, no worries. When it comes to tech, you’re no stranger to systems like SAP and its MRP functionality—you know how to leverage systems to get things done. And you're not afraid of Excel.
