About the Role Patient-Centred Care: Advocate for patient-centred care by fostering strong relationships with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team. Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily operations of multiple critical care units, ensuring efficient and effective resource allocation within a budget of approximately $55 million. Data-Informed Decision Making: Analyse and interpret data, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic decision-making. Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of Nursing Managers, overseeing a total of 300 FTE across the portfolio. Collaboration and Advocacy: In collaboration with the Directors of Nursing, advocate for the professional development and advancement of the nursing profession within the organisation. Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans to enhance service delivery and improve patient outcomes. Quality and Safety: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and quality of care. About You A Proven Leader: You possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of success in a complex healthcare environment. A Clinical Expert: You are a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and possess advanced qualifications in health management or a relevant field. A Visionary: You are a strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop innovative solutions. A Change Agent: You are passionate about driving innovation and creating a positive and engaging work environment. A Results-Oriented Professional: You are results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving operational and clinical excellence. NSW Metropolitan Experience (Highly Regarded): Prior experience within an Emergency Department setting and/or as a Nurse Manager in a major NSW metropolitan hospital is highly regarded.
