This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks’ notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency. As the Programs Manager – Family Services, you will have the chance to build your leadership and clinical skills while managing a dynamic team that provides vital services to those affected by violence, abuse, and neglect. Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programs Manager – Family Services (Health Clinician Level 5) to oversee the operational and clinical management of various Violence, Abuse, and Neglect (VAN) programs, based at the Gosford Gateway Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated leader with advanced clinical and management experience to contribute to the delivery of essential services to vulnerable families across the region. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational management of the Violence, Abuse, and Neglect (VAN) programs at Gosford Gateway Centre and Erina Community Health. This will include leading the Family Services stream made up of Whole Family Team and Child Protection Counselling Service. You will collaborate with clinical leads to support staff development, oversee clinical governance, and ensure services are delivered effectively in line with NSW Health’s Prevention and Response to Violence, Abuse, and Neglect (PARVAN) Framework. Your leadership will foster a culture of innovation, evidence-based practice, and cultural safety within your teams, working with families engaging in the child protection system. The role is suitable for the following: Nurse Manager Grade 2 Occupational Therapist Level 5 Senior Psychologist Social Worker Level 5 About You You must hold a tertiary degree and full registration with AHPRA or a relevant professional body as a Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurse, or Senior Psychologist. You should have substantial post-graduate experience in the Violence, Abuse, and Neglect sector, with recent experience working with complex and vulnerable families. You have advanced leadership capabilities, including the ability to prioritise, analyse, and consider broader government and organisational policies. You have an Australian Drivers' Licence and willingness to travel to various sites across the Central Coast Local Health District.
