Our mission is to provide a supportive environment where students can engage in diverse athletic pursuits, develop their unique strengths, and foster a lifelong passion for physical activity and sportsmanship.Role and Responsibilities: As a Casual Sports Coach working in our netball program, you will report directly to the Head of Netball and: Plan and execute effective practice sessions that build players' skills, strategies, and physical fitness. Coach and mentor high-level netball teams across various age groups, fostering skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Support each player’s individual growth, identifying strengths and areas for improvement, and providing constructive feedback. Promote a positive culture within the netball community, encouraging student and family involvement in school sports. This is a casual position, with work required as per the following:Term 1 - Tuesdays 3pm - 6.30pm, Fridays 4pm-6pm and Saturdays as per the Netball Competition fixture.Term 2 - In addition to the above, further shifts may be available Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings (7am - 8.30am) and Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays afternoons (as per the GSV Competition schedule.)This is a unique opportunity to help shape a vibrant, competitive netball program and empower students to achieve their best.Qualifications and Requirements: Previous experience working as a Netball Coach, ideally within a school environment. Current Working with Children Check - Employer. Demonstrated coaching practice and techniques within a highly competitive environment. Excellent communication skills and an ability to connect with students. A proven capacity for innovative, flexible and research-based coaching practices. Why Choose Toorak College?
