Job Description
The Company is seeking a Chief Engineer to join their Financial Crime team on a permanent basis. The Role You will oversee approximately 300 Software Engineers and work closely with the Heads of Technology and Executive team to provide architectural and thought leadership. Key responsibilities include developing and leading multi-year architecture and technology solutions, shaping future products, researching and reviewing new technologies, and helping to accelerate the adoption of best engineering practices. Key Skills and Competencies Extensive technical background and previous experience working in a similar position as a Chief Engineer or Distinguished Engineer Experience in leading, overseeing and building large Engineering teams Expertise with modern technology stacks, API design, microservices, public cloud and designing for resilience and operational excellence Proven experience in delivering service-oriented, cloud-native architectures including event-driven architectures and API-enabled core applications Experience dealing with real-time, data-driven applications Working knowledge of Financial Crime and Fraud systems Demonstrated experience in driving transformational change in line with organisational goals Excellent communication skills and ability to manage various business stakeholders, including Executives Experience working in Financial Services or a highly regulated environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
