We are a family owned and operated long day care centre. We aim for children to be inspired by natural and comfortable surroundings, which in turn, builds confidence and resilience to help them branch out and reach for the stars! We are an innovative, family owned, early learning centre located in Rural Queensland. We have embarked on our journey of adventure to provide inspiration, wonder, and delight to all our little friends. Our Centre has recently been taken over by new owners and is fully equipped with modern resources and a host of learning opportunities for children, creating simulating play spaces for everyone. We are seeking a skilled centre director, with a minimum of 5 -7 years experience , who shares our belief in creating a positive and happy childhood for each of our friends. We prefer you to have some operational experience and be an advocate for the highest quality care and education for our children, whilst supporting families and the local community. Combined with a high-quality understanding of early childhood and a passion to grow, together, we guide and nurture our friends, to flourish and aim for the stars! We require the following qualifications to be held by our team members: Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor qualifications Current Blue Card Current First Aid and CPR – desirable We would love the successful applicant to have the following skill sets: Time management and communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A commitment to best practice and early years learning Demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to mentoring team members. An understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Law & Regulations and the Assessment and Rating Process. An understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and Kindergarten Learning Guidelines. A commitment to ongoing professional learning and personal growth. Respects and acknowledges Educator input. Every team member has something to contribute to the team, and all ideas and inspirations are acknowledged. Demonstrated ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative. Remuneration: $100,000 - $130,000 (reflective of your experience) + super with annual reviews Flexible working hours $5,000 sign on bonus paid after a 6-month probation period Yearly performance bonuses based on occupancy and staff management only. The application must have been in employment a minimum of 12 months after the probationary period. Substantial Relocation assistance to support your move. Yearly return flights home to your capital city. Quarterly discretionary bonuses on top of the yearly bonus after 12 months of employment 50% Staff discount off the gap fee if children attend the centre. TIL being provided for attending staff Team Meetings (which can be used by Educators to enjoy a half day/ early finish) with food and drink provided at each meeting. We pride ourselves on effective team collaboration, to enhance this, we explore team building opportunities, at team meetings, as well, as external team building activities, out of hours for everyone to enjoy! Educator birthdays are celebrated each year with a homemade cake. All expenses paid dinner and drinks, to celebrate the year gone by, as well as an individual end-of-year gift hamper or gift cards for each Educator to enjoy.
