The role: An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Registered Nurse to apply for the Anaesthetics and Recovery Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) position. The CNE is responsible for enhancing skills and knowledge by providing education that is based on current best practices. This includes planning, coordinating, delivering, implementing, and evaluating clinical education needs, both at the unit level, as well as assisting with educational requirements across the organisation. As a CNE, you will report to the L&D Manager and be part of the team of experienced CNEs. The preferred applicant will have strong clinical skills, experience in clinical nursing education, well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and have the motivation to develop and support others. At St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, we recognise the vital role of our CNEs and reward them accordingly with remuneration of $64.53 per hour. The required working days for this position are: Week 1 - Tuesdays & Friday | Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday & Friday Your skills and experience: A values driven orientation consistent with the philosophy, mission and values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency Recent extensive experience within perioperative services Hold relevant clinical and/or education post-graduate qualification/s Demonstrated knowledge of innovative educational strategies, tools and approaches Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team and demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development The Company: St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney is one of Australia’s leading private hospitals, located in Darlinghurst.
