Employment Type : Temporary Part Time (Up to March 2026) Position Classification : Clinical Nurse Educator Remuneration : $55.32 - $57.11 ph (+ superannuation + salary packaging options) Location : Bathurst, NSW Hours Per Week : 19 Applications Close : 2 March 2025 – 11:59pm Clinical Nurse Educator - Operating Theatre Bathurst Health Service About The Role This role provides clinical education, training and evaluation of skills and knowledge to promote and support improved nursing care in the Operating Theatres. You’ll plan, deliver and evaluate clinical education programs to groups and individuals to contribute to the development of our nursing workforce, working collaboratively with nursing staff and managers to identify and prioritise individual and unit learning needs. Importantly, you will promote a culture of continuous learning and development within our Living Well Together framework, providing clinical leadership, including preceptorship, mentorship and role modelling, to support a collaborative approach to learning and development. You will monitor and evaluate educational programs through clinical competency assessments within scope of role to monitor nursing education gaps and ensure that clinical learning priorities are appropriately balanced with mandatory education requirements. You’ll also participate in the development and review of procedures and guidelines to improve the provision of education advice and expertise. You will be an integral member of the community and you’ll see not only the results of your care, but the appreciation of the community of the role you play in their health.
