Salary: RN Level 2 $104,903 - $110,752 per annum pro rata Location: Perth Children’s Hospital, Nedlands Unit/Division: Child and Adolescent Health Service > Respiratory This is a Part Time, Fixed Term appointment at 53.20 hours (0.7FTE) until 30 June 2025 with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency after 1 July 2025 with permanent FTE to be confirmed. About Our Team: The Respiratory Nursing staff at Perth Children’s Hospital is a dynamic specialist nursing team who work independently and within wider groups to achieve positive health outcomes for kids in WA with respiratory conditions. Within Respiratory Nursing, there are two streams: Complex Respiratory and Ventilation. The Complex Respiratory stream covers Cystic Fibrosis, Bronchiectasis, Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, and management of severe asthma using biologic therapies. The Ventilation stream covers long term home invasive and non-invasive ventilation, and ex-preterm infants requiring home oxygen. Position Profile: We are seeking a motivated nurse with experience in working with infants, children, and young people with respiratory conditions to work as a Clinical Nurse in the Complex Respiratory stream. The Complex Respiratory CN will work within a team including Clinical Nurses, a Clinical Nurse Specialist, and a Clinical Nurse Consultant to provide care to children with conditions such as bronchiectasis, primary ciliary dyskinesia, and severe asthma. The CN will also provide knowledge, clinical expertise, and leadership to staff and families, assisting with coordinating care for Complex Respiratory patients and collaborating with multi-disciplinary members of the Respiratory Department, CAHS, and other WA Health teams.
