Located alongside Royal North Shore Hospital, our teams incorporate scientific breakthroughs into clinical practice, directly improving patient care and the health of our community. This research project is led by the Principal Investigator, Professor David Hunter. Your key responsibilities will be to: work under the direction of the Project Manager and the Senior Research Fellow within the program deliver group exercise and diet programs and meet with individuals to provide guidance and instructions as per the clinical trial guidelines build and maintain relationships with various internal and external stakeholders provide assistance with clinical trial activities, including maintaining trial documents, preparation of ethics and governance documents, be the primary contact for the participants, and schedule study visits About you hold a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science; Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy or an equivalent combination of training and experience ability to work autonomously with minimum guidance and supervision and as part of a team excellent time management skills with the ability to work various hours travel required to off-site community facilities (Boronia Park Uniting Church) and may need to transport exercise equipment ability to demonstrate flexibility on Mondays and Wednesdays to work from Royal North Shore Hospital until 7pm ability to communicate body weight and health information sensitively and respectfully with participants clinical trial experience desirable Note: Tentative interview date is 20 March 2025.
