About the opportunity: Supporting a user base of c. 1,000 people you will help manage, standardize and optimize the existing Infrastructure and Azure cloud environments. By leading a small team of 4 engineers, you will take on a technical leadership role in the provisioning, configuration and maintenance of Azure cloud resources as per Microsoft best practice. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will bridge the gap between Infrastructure & applications, promoting continuous integration and feedback loops across the entire Microsoft Azure ecosystem. Some ongoing / future state requirements; Build and improve security frameworks across the Microsoft cloud stack Optimize and improve upon existing DevOps & CICD processes Help lead IaC deployment using best practice tools such as Bicep and/or Terraform In addition, you will be working as part of a friendly and collaborative team, with a business that advocates flexibility and wellbeing. About you: The successful Cloud Lead can fulfil duties across the following; Proven experience leading a strategy and engineering cloud solutions into production; including provisioning, monitoring and troubleshooting of cloud resources In-depth knowledge of the Azure cloud computing platform, services and native solutions – general hygiene, code scanning (IaC) static testing Effective communication and a strong sense of accountability helping the team understand where they need to go and bringing them on the journey Proficiency in IaC code deployment using Bicep and/or other Ability to evaluable and enhance security measures in relation to M365 / Azure / Entra ID adopting Microsoft best practice frameworks Strong collaborative skills to ensure efficient cooperation across DevOps, Security and other team functions Proficient networking skills to support and optimize balanced workloads on F5 or Microsoft ALB If this role sounds like you, please apply directly.
