Part-Time Community Life Coordinator Every Other Weekend The Converse Home is an Assisted Living Community located in downtown Burlington. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care and a vibrant community for our residents. We believe in creating a warm, welcoming environment where residents can thrive and enjoy meaningful activities and social interactions. Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Community Life Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis, working every other weekend. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating a variety of engaging activities and events that promote socialization, mental stimulation, and overall well-being for our residents. Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and lead a variety of recreational activities and events for residents. Encourage resident participation and engagement in scheduled activities. Help develop and maintain a monthly calendar of events. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a well-rounded activity program. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents. Assist in the setup and cleanup of activities and events. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of activities and resident feedback. Build meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and staff members. Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role within an assisted living facility or similar environment is preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Creativity and a passion for working with older adults. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work every other weekend.
