About the Role: As a Control Room Operator, you will be the first point of contact for our clients during critical events. This demanding yet rewarding role requires quick thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties. Key Responsibilities: Monitor alarm and camera systems (burglar, fire, medical, and other emergency alarms). Respond to alerts, assess situations quickly, and determine the appropriate course of action. Dispatch emergency services (police, fire departments, and medical responders). Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, emergency services, and other relevant parties. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all incidents and actions taken. Current Victorian Security Licence with Control Room subcategory. Current Victorian Driver's Licence. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays (details provided upon interview). Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Punctuality and dependability. Professional appearance and attitude. Desirable Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a monitoring center or similar role.
