Job Description - Coordinator, Employee Connection (2500104) About the Opportunity In this hands-on and high energy role you will lead the internal communications function for City of Adelaide through providing advice and input to communication strategies and plans, supporting the design of written, visual and audio content and supporting executive messaging. This role will play a key part in promoting our Employee Value proposition and employee benefits as well as driving our organisation-wide recognition program which includes our Annual Awards event. We are looking for someone who has an engaging and personable working style that is naturally collaborative, takes a creative approach and has strong communication skills. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of areas to support employee connections across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Coordinating and developing internal communications and providing advice and support to the organisation around developing internal communications content. Supporting communication channels between our executive team and the broader organisation. Preparing and publishing our organisation-wide and leader newsletters. Driving our recognition program, which includes implementing our monthly team awards and our Annual Awards Event. Ensuring our employees have access to up to date information through our intranet and other channels. Working with our Marketing and Communications team to ensure we take a consistent approach to internal and external communications. About You To be successful in this role you will have: Qualifications and/or experience relevant to Marketing, Communications and or Public Relations. Strong skills in written and verbal communication, with the ability to adjust your style to different audiences. Great relationship building skills. A creative, flexible and adaptable approach. Capability in developing engaging communications, to support effective connections across the organisation. Experience coordinating and organising events and projects. A passion for employee connection, communication and development.
