Job Description

Salary: $121,873 – $129,707 per annum Plus up to 14.5% superannuation (conditions apply) Restricted Private Use of Vehicle Ref No: 24-114 The City is looking for a skilled and qualified individual to lead our Engineering Roads Resurfacing Capital Works team. In this role, you will oversee the coordination of the Roads Delivery function and manage the Drainage and Asphalt team to ensure effective operational and maintenance services for our civil engineering infrastructure. The role involves providing leadership and direction to the team, overseeing people management, and handling financial management activities. You will be responsible for guiding the team’s efforts, ensuring effective performance, and managing budgets to achieve operational and strategic objectives for engineering services. Successful applicants will be required to have the following: WA ‘C Class Driver's Licence Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card) Please complete a cover letter (no more than 2 pages) and resume which covers the following selection criteria: Extensive experience in Civil Engineering works, including maintenance and constructions of roads, carparks, pathways, drainage systems and road pavement design. Experience in Road Resurfacing for capital works. Demonstrated experience in Leadership and People Management. Experience with Project and Contract Management.
