Customer Service Officer - Landside Operations Are you ready to be a part of something remarkable? The Opportunity: The Customer Service Officer will work within the Landside Operations Team to provide a safe, inclusive and exceptional customer experience. This role will see you rotate through a variety of tasks across your shift, exposed to different areas within Landside Operations. A high level of communication skills and awareness will be necessary to undertake this role, as well as being comfortable working outdoors for the entirety of your shifts. Key responsibilities: Maintain traffic flow in pick-up/drop-off area (kerbside) Be the first point of contact outside the terminal Providing customer service in the landside and terminal precincts Oversee general operations of the car parks, taxi rank/lay-off and rideshare area Monitor security and safety around the landside area Ensuring compliance and safety for passengers Assist the travelling public with any mobility assistance requirements Radio operation and coordination Committed to working a 4 on/4 off exclusively AM or PM shift roster. Shifts will span from 4:00am (AM shift) to 11:30pm (PM shift) Monday – Sunday, over a rotating roster working an average of 33 hours per week What you bring: You will have a background in delivering exceptional customer service, with experience working in a busy, customer facing role. Highly enthusiastic, engaged and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be critical to your success. You are resilient in nature, allowing for optimal customer interactions. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, negotiate and influence people at all levels to deliver positive customer outcomes.
