Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment and enjoys engaging with candidates over the phone. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and on-boarding candidates for blue-collar industrial roles across warehousing, logistics, and manufacturing. Candidate Sourcing & Engagement Conduct a minimum of 90 phone screens and 30 interviews per week Source candidates through various channels, including: Online job boards and company database Social media groups and professional networks Industry referrals and talent pools Targeted advertising campaigns Maintain proactive communication with potential candidates, keeping them engaged even when no immediate role is available Screening & Assessment Evaluate candidate suitability based on experience, skills, and job requirements Conduct in-depth phone and face-to-face interviews Request and review on-boarding documents, ensuring compliance with pre-employment requirements Administer reference checks, medical questionnaires, police checks, and other pre-employment verifications as needed Collaboration & Placement Work closely with account managers to understand client job requirements Match suitable candidates to job openings and coordinate placements Maintain accurate records in the recruitment database Follow-Up & Relationship Management Provide candidates with timely updates on their application progress Build strong relationships with candidates to encourage referrals and long-term engagement Ensure all recruitment activities align with company standards and client expectations Key Skills & Attributes Resilience & Persistence - Ability to handle high call volumes and follow up consistently Strong Communication - Confident phone manner and ability to engage candidates effectively Time Management - Ability to juggle multiple recruitment processes and meet weekly targets Attention to Detail - Ensuring all compliance and on-boarding requirements are met Proactive Mindset - Ability to build candidate pipelines and maintain engagement Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in recruitment, sales, or a high-volume call environment is advantageous but not essential Experience sourcing blue-collar candidates is a plus Strong computer skills, including experience with recruitment databases and Microsoft Office Job Details Position Type: Casual Location: Sydney CBD Start Date: ASAP Reporting to: Leigh Boyle #J-18808-Ljbffr
