Multiple roles available for Grade 1 and Grade 2 Dietitians to join our established department across multiple sites. Permanent, temporary, and casual positions available. About Barwon Health Barwon Health is one of the largest and most comprehensive regional health services in Australia, providing care at all stages of life and circumstance. About the facility Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. About the roles Grade 1: - Part time (0.4FTE) Fixed term (6 months) – availability Monday and Tuesday required.- Full time (1.0FTE) Fixed term (12 months) – ADO eligible.As a successful Grade 1 applicant, you will participate in clinical rotations which provide invaluable on-the-job training, broaden expertise, and prepare you for future senior opportunities. Grade 2: - Part time (0.4FTE) Fixed term (12 months).- Casual Role available.As a successful Grade 2 applicant, you will possess specialised knowledge and experience in the relevant clinical area. All successful applicants must be able to act as high-functioning members of the Nutrition & Dietetics Department at Barwon Health, providing high quality, efficient, evidence-based nutrition and dietetic services via: Provision and development of Nutrition & Dietetic service delivery in the designated clinical area, applying comprehensive, consumer-centred care within a multi-disciplinary setting. Provision of teaching, supervision, support and development of less experienced staff and students. Participation in designated quality improvement projects within the expectations of the Barwon Health Strategic Plan and the Nutrition & Dietetics Business Plan. All activities of these positions will reflect current best-practice guidelines and professional standards for Nutrition & Dietetics. These positions will primarily be located at University Hospital Geelong and/or the McKellar Centre but may include roles at other Barwon Health locations depending on service delivery need.
