District Sales Manager - Victoria The District Sales Manager, Victoria position is a multifaceted role dedicated to driving retail and wholesale sales results for units and PA&A for Sea-Doo, Ski-Doo and Can-Am brands. You will be responsible for managing business relations with the dealer network in your region and providing support to assist with network development, optimising sales performance, improving the overall customer experience and elevating profitability. The position is remote and based in Victoria with Travel 25-40%: this includes local traveling within the defined market area on a regular basis, plus bi-annual Sydney head office visits. YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Achieve the wholesale and retail unit and PA&A (Parts, Accessories & Apparel) sales target for the designated region, maximising BRP's business opportunities and contributing to the long term business success. Ensure that unit sales targets and PA&A sales targets are achieved. Cultivate dealer partnerships by serving as a business partner to support dealers’ long-term success. Maintain regular dealership visits and function as their primary liaison to support execution of strategic plans and long term success. Understand dealer’s key business drivers to influence and positively contribute to the development of a commercial business plan to deliver wholesale / retail targets & maximise market opportunities. Develop dealer's staff selling capabilities (technical & selling skills). Collaborate with dealers to create meaningful marketing strategies and retail activation initiatives to optimize retail opportunities. Provide support to the network for commercial & promotional activities and attend demo events, sales events, trade shows and community initiatives. Leverage available tools to assess and monitor dealer performance vs KPI’s and empower dealers with strategies and insights to identify and capitalise on market share, sales and aftersales opportunities and profitability. Review dealer standards and customer experience processes to enable to maximise sales opportunities, create repeat and referral business and support retention through service and aftersales. Identify full market potential and develop dealer network to maximize sales potential network profitability and engagement. Prepare & execute a District Action Plan (DAP): Establish KPI’s per dealer to maximise objectives, and address the risks and opportunities for your region. Prioritize actions and optimize the dealer network inline with BRP positioning and identified market potential. Optimize the dealer network configuration by consolidating, eliminating and adding specific dealer points and improving dealer quality and performance to meet & exceed territory objectives. Manage and review the dealer network’s business, financial and physical capacity in line with the growth expectations of BRP. Maximise dealer marketing ROI and brand exposure by leveraging the Co-op Marketing system. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of competitors, effectively communicating competitive activity. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, as required to ensure achievement of objectives i.e. Commercial, Network Development, Operations, After Sales, Finance etc. Complete regular and ad-hoc progress and visit reports as required. Assist dealer network to achieve a minimum expected level of dealer network certification, with a mix of Platinum / Gold / Silver dealers. Leverage ‘Essential Criteria’ to elevate network standard of both Certified & Uncertified dealers. YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: Previous experience in a similar role or with a dealer & distributor network. Proven track record of successfully delivering results in a fast paced and high growth environment. Experience in the powersports or motorised vehicle industry would be advantageous. Proficient in various sales and management tools including CRM and DMS systems, dealer performance reporting, and customer experience reporting system. Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies, aligned with BRP's business objectives. Proficiency in data analysis, identifying trends, and extracting and communicating actionable insights. Amazing interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Thrives in a dynamic environment and adaptable to changing priorities.
