The Opportunity Goal Group is seeking a number of experienced Commercial/Contracts specialists and Managers to support current Defence acquisition and sustainment programs in Canberra (on a casual / contract basis), with potential for extension or permanent employment, though not guaranteed at this time. We Currently Seek Commercial Support Specialists - L3 FMS Manager (Foreign Military Sales, AIC) - L3 Commercial Manager - L3 Commercial Officer - L3 About you As An Ideal Candidate, You Will Have Current/recent experience in Defence procurement, commercial and contract management of ASDEFCON contracts Experience with activities such as processing contract changes, reviewing contract deliverables, managing contractor performance, leading negotiation with prime contractors, developing s23 approvals, developing contract management plans, developing approaches to market, managing commercial risks, etc. Knowledge of the contracting and procurement framework, the PGPA and other related Defence policies Understanding of the content of the Defence Procurement Manual (DPM), and related guidance, and the ASDEFCON suite of tendering and contracting templates. Hold an active AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance, noting that only Australian Citizens are eligible to obtain and maintain a Commonwealth Security Clearance. FMS and AIC knowledge (FMS Manager role only).
