Ecommerce and Digital Content Coordinator Western Australian made, Eco-luxe skincare brand Sodashi wants an ambitious, motivated, sales driven and experienced Ecommerce and Digital Content Coordinator based at our Head Office in Fremantle-Perth. Working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment, this important role places a strong emphasis on eCommerce global strategy through to execution including digital operations working in sync with social media and digital content creation. This position reports to the Marketing Manager and will own managing and optimising Sodashi’s Shopify platform. The ideal person will play a key role in enhancing this 25-year-old brand, to innovate and attract new customers, elevate customer experiences and drive online sales (globally). We need a detailed data-driven creative who has a passion for experiential strategies. Co-Creating seamless digital shopping experiences, and collaborating across teams to achieve global Sales, eCommerce, and Brand objectives will be an everyday focus within our small team. Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to drive traffic from social media platforms to the ecommerce site. Drive online sales relationships through loyalty rewards programmes to enhance customer retention. Track and analyse social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns in driving conversions. Regularly update product listings with new information, images, videos, and pricing adjustments. Utilise tools and analytics to refine and improve the conversion rate from social media to the website. In collaboration, optimise social media posts and ads to encourage clicks and increase website visits. Coordinate with sales and social media colleagues to align content and promotions with ecommerce goals. Ecommerce Site Management: Build, implement and manage ecommerce strategy (Shopify platform) and product roadmap to improve the UX leading to higher conversion rates, increased AOV and improved retention rates. Own the day-to-day online business operations to ensure seamless delivery of our business goals and revenue targets. Monitor key metrics (sales, stock, traffic) of overall eCommerce activity and campaign to optimise and increase conversion. Handle online customer enquiries and mitigate a positive customer experience for our online customers and manage the backend of the site. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO): Optimise the website for search engines to improve its visibility and ranking, ensuring a global reach. Conduct keyword research to identify high-performing search terms relevant to our products and industry. Monitor and analyse SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console. Develop and execute link-building strategies to enhance site authority, collaborating with distribution, spa, and retail partners. Collaborate with content creators and social teams to ensure SEO-friendly copy and media are produced to drive conversion. Website Maintenance and Security: Regularly check and update the website's security measures to protect against cyber threats. Monitor website performance, including speed, uptime, links, and user experience. Conduct routine site audits to identify and fix usability, navigation, and content accuracy issues. Regularly back up website data and maintain a recovery plan for emergencies. Analytics and Reporting: Compile and analyse data from various sources to assess ecommerce performance. Use analytics tools to track website performance, including traffic, browsing trends, heatmap behaviours, bounce rates, and conversion rates. Identify areas for improvement based on data insights and propose actionable recommendations. Generate detailed strategy recommendations to inform and collaborate on strategic decisions. Submit the Ecommerce Monthly Performance Report to the CEO and Board, including e-sales targets, budget performance, KPIs, and action plans. Execute and optimise digital marketing campaigns and promotions, focusing on driving traffic, leads, engagement and conversions. Implement, manage, and optimise paid advertising across Facebook/Instagram, TikTok and Google Ads. Content Creation: Create, edit and schedule engaging creative content across organic and paid social following channel guidelines and content calendar. Produce and edit video content for social media platforms, ensuring it aligns with brand tone and industry trends. Manage ongoing Omisend/Klaviyo EDM strategy, planning, and briefing including copywriting and creative briefs for the designer to execute. Support the creation and editing of collateral for various platforms including blog posts, website copy, social media posts, EDMs and more. Ensure all content is aligned with brand tone of voice and industry trends. Stay on top of industry trends and be proactive about new content ideas to aid conversion through social media. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal teams, agencies, consultants, and stakeholders to align ecommerce strategies with overall business goals. Manage relationships with partners and collaborators to maximise business opportunities. Coordinate with sales, marketing, product development, and finance teams for cohesive results. Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment. Qualifications and Experiences: A holistic mindset and a passion for wellness and clean beauty. A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business. At least 3 years of relevant experience managing ecommerce platforms. Demonstrated ability to create and edit video content for social media. Experience with Shopify and knowledge of SEO, SEM, and web analytics. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong organisational, project, and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
