Job Description The Project ACCIONA has been selected to deliver Western Harbour Tunnel – Stage 2, Sydney’s third harbour crossing. The new Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT) will connect to WestConnex at the Rozelle Interchange, cross underneath Sydney Harbour between Birchgrove and Waverton, and connect with the Warringah Freeway near North Sydney. Project scope includes: Construction of approximately 4.8 kilometres of mainline tunnels with three lanes in each direction. Civil, Mechanical and Electrical fit out of Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunnels. Surface level work, including on and off ramps and tie-in work to the Warringah Freeway. In line with the above, ACCIONA is now looking for an Electrical Quality Engineer to join the Western Harbour Tunnel Project. As the Electrical Quality Engineer , you will be providing support to establish quality and completion systems and controls to successfully deliver the project. The Electrical Quality Engineer will ensure that all quality and completion requirements are satisfied when transitioning finished works to the Client and Stakeholders. Specific Tasks Include Maintain Completions database for project quality management. Assist in uploading field documents to electronic systems. Develop Work Packs, ITPs, and ITRs for controlled work processes. Verify work processes comply with contract documents through inspections. Coordinate engineering team to implement specified plans and procedures. Ensure purchased items meet specifications before incorporation. Manage records to demonstrate project compliance. Address nonconforming items through NCR process and share lessons learned. Required Skills and Competencies Qualifications and Experience Tertiary Qualification in engineering or related discipline, ideally Electrical. A good knowledge of Australian standards. Experience with Quality Management Systems in accordance with ISO 9000 and TfNSW Q6. Advanced Microsoft Suite skills (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.). Skills in monitoring, reviewing, reporting and leading in performance continuous improvement. Prior experience in a similar role on a large infrastructure project. Excellent communication and problem-solving mindset.
