Embedding Culture Program Officer Applications close midnight Sunday 19 January 2025 As the Belco Arts Embedding Culture Program Officer, you will be instrumental in engaging with First Nations Elders, other knowledge holders, and artists in the conceptualization, design, effective management, delivery, full realization, and installation of a range of site-specific public artworks that express, celebrate, embed, and elevate the value and voice of First Nations art, storytelling, and language within the surrounding emerging suburbs. This role will report to the Co-CEOs and will work alongside and be supported by a high-performing team of arts professionals, based in a state-of-the-art facility, Belconnen Arts Centre by Lake Ginninderra. Candidates must have: an understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples an ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
