The Project The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide. The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations. Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance will offer the people of Adelaide an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project, career stability and the opportunity for career progression and development. The Role The Engagement Advisor will support the Senior Engagement Advisor/ Engagement Lead in executing community engagement strategies and activities within their designated precinct of the project. This role is pivotal in fostering positive relationships with local stakeholders, supporting the Construction team, and ensuring the project is delivered with minimal community disruption. Responsibilities: Identify stakeholder and community issues and develop strategies to minimise impacts. Ensure client expectations are fully understood and develop good working relationships with the client Assist to develop and implement the Stakeholder Relations and Communications Management Plan for the project including developing and implementing plans and procedures for a specific Area, ensuring they are updated as required Develop good working relationships with the project construction team to ensure activities are undertaken strategically, minimising impact and disruption to stakeholders and the community Provide advice and assistance to the construction teams on community and stakeholder activities so communication and notification requirements are understood in accordance with the Stakeholder Relations and Communications Management Plan Write a range of high-quality communication materials, including notifications, newsletters, advertising, social media posts and formal correspondence as well as co-ordinate residential door knocks as appropriate Manage responses to all project related communications matters including via phone, email, website and social media in line with agreed client framework About you Tertiary Degree or certificate or relevant experience in public relations, journalism, stakeholder management or marketing Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in community engagement, with at least 2 years in advisory capacity Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing community engagement plans within the construction or infrastructure sectors Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a capacity to convey complex information to a variety of audiences Familiarity with the local area and community dynamics is highly desirable We offer Your success is reflected in ours, and as an Alliance we are committed to being an employer of choice here in Adelaide.
