In partnership with local communities, Engagement Workers will assist with developing the Working Together initiative and engage with families and the community to support access to and participation in quality early learning. Duties Engagement Workers will connect with socially marginalised or at-risk children and families for improved outcomes in child wellbeing and education. The role will work with the Working Together project team, service partners’ staff and community services more broadly to achieve effective approaches to engaging disadvantaged parents and families in their communities. Period of Appointment 21 April 2025 to 30 June 2026 Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1. Hours per fortnight 58.8 hours per fortnight Minimum Requirements: Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment) A current Driver’s Licence An appropriate qualification, such as a qualification in social work, community development or community services or a related discipline.
