We have an exciting opportunity to join our Maintenance Operations Team in the role of Engineering Operations Improvement Analyst. The primary function of this role is to assess Engineering’s short, mid and long term maintenance requirements and to support the development of a sustainable and commercially optimised flying schedule. This is done in close partnership with Maintenance Operations Centre stakeholders, as well as Integrated Planning and Network and Scheduling teams. The role is also required to measure the performance of the Engineering business and drive continuous improvement. Reporting to the Strategic Maintenance Planning Manager, key responsibilities of this role include: Consolidation of maintenance requirements across heavy, intermediate and line maintenance, including all scheduled and unscheduled requirements. Maintain and iterate Engineering’s demand model to ensure Engineering’s requirements are achieved, while maximising the operational availability of our fleet. Collaborate with Integrated Planning and Network and Scheduling to develop a schedule that meets Engineering’s requirements, while also achieving fleet utilisation and availability metrics. Collaborating with key stakeholders to jointly develop initiatives to reduce maintenance demand and optimise fleet performance. Working with internal and external suppliers to assess performance and inform continuous improvement opportunities and negotiation of agreements. Support the identification and execution of strategic opportunities to optimise the strategy that informs maintenance footprint and maintenance suppliers to improve engineering and airline business outcomes. Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the Engineering business to internal stakeholders and customer airlines. We are on the hunt for someone who has experience, qualifications and attributes including: Experience in airline operations and/or aircraft engineering. Experience managing interface with Part 145 suppliers for maintenance execution. Deep understanding of airline processes within Engineering and in commercial and strategic planning teams. Stakeholder and supplier performance management skills.
