Environmental Service Officer Apply now Job no: 577304Work type: Part timeLocation: Wollongong Private HospitalCategories: Environmental Services - Cleaner/Laundry The Opportunity As an Environmental Services Officer, you will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout all areas of the hospital in line with infection control guidelines and also: Utilise a range of cleaning equipment effectively. Take responsibility and accountability for your designated cleaning tasks. Work cooperatively and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Skills and Experience To succeed in this role, you will have previous cleaning experience in a hospital and theatre setting with a passion for delivering a high standard of customer service, all in line with our Ramsay core values. You will also bring: Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures Proven experience with hazard identification Experience in health care industry (desirable) Experience in a previous housekeeping role (desirable) Experience in cleaning practices in operating theatres (desirable) Availability to work a 7-day rotating roster.
