What is unique about you? You are a highly skilled and professional Executive Office Assistant who has experience of working in a school setting. With understanding of the education industry, you feel confident in providing vital support to a passionate Head of Learning. With exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, you will confidently engage with staff, students, parents, and external partners, establishing a strong and professional rapport. Trusted for your discretion and sound judgment, you will navigate sensitive matters with empathy and tact, acting as a reliable advisor to the Head of Learning. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential in this role, as you will be working with diverse groups and fostering effective, collaborative relationships across the close school community. This role involves comprehensive diary management, scheduling and coordinating meetings, and balancing multiple competing priorities with flexibility and grace. You are proficient in filing documents within a school environment and familiar with the terminology used in the education sector. As an individual you are highly organised, able to switch seamlessly between tasks, and make practical decisions about when and how to escalate issues. Supporting other members of the team with projects, you are a proactive and adaptable team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipating needs, and bringing a problem-solving mindset to each day. Provide high-level administrative assistance, overseeing communication, calendars, meetings, and digital records, while maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with professionalism. Organise and oversee school events, functions, and the academic calendar, ensuring smooth planning and execution of staff training, meetings, and student programs with effective communication. Act as the primary point of contact for staff, students, parents, and external parties, addressing inquiries, collaborating with departments, and supporting the Head of Learning in fostering strong stakeholder relationships. Assist with maintaining policy and procedural compliance, ensuring adherence to work health and safety regulations, coordinating audits, and working closely with maintenance and facilities teams. Collaborate with the Head of Learning in overseeing reports, tracking expenses, and handling correspondence to support efficient school operations.
