Experienced Architect or Graduate of Architecture Nelson Bay, New South Wales, Australia BHS Studio is a newly incorporated business offering architectural services in commercial property development and construction. A long-standing relationship with a prominent Port Stephens developer has presented the opportunity to grow the architectural function with particular opportunities in the design of commercial residential Class 2 buildings. BHS Studio is seeking an Experienced Architect with 3-6 years of experience to support the projects and be an integral part of the business expansion. The culture is entrepreneurial and fast-paced, with a small team of self-motivated individuals working in partnership with the developer and nominated builders. This role would suit an early career professional who is looking for a career-defining opportunity to further architectural skills in a small start-up firm with minimum bureaucracy and reporting load, and maximum opportunity for growth while enjoying the beautiful coastal setting of Nelson Bay. About the Role: Reporting to the Design Director, you will be involved in all aspects of architectural project delivery and realization. About You: Master's degree in Architecture Architect Registration or a desire to become Registered Experience working with medium scale projects, particularly Class 2 up to 10-storey Understanding of NCC and D&BP Act A passion for design and architecture Proven experience with Archicad Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Fast and willing learner Driven, self-motivated, and enthusiastic Based in Port Stephens or willing to self-relocate as required This is a unique opportunity to be a part of an entrepreneurial business group supporting the design director in crafting quality buildings.
