We strive for best practice and continuous improvement in the management of the environment in which we operate.The Role We're looking for a part-time Finance & Admin Officer to support our business, based in our Bellerive office. This is an entry-level accounting and administration position, ideal for someone eager to build their skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller and the broader finance and admin teams, performing accounts payable/receivable tasks, reconciliations, and general administrative tasks.In This Role, You Will Process Accounts Receivable (AR) invoices and statements. Manage Accounts Payable (AP), including responding to supplier enquiries. Complete bank, credit card, and supplier reconciliations. Assist with claims, end-of-month accounting, and sales reconciliations. Provide administrative support, such as phone and email communication, and ordering supplies. Support TOC’s commitment to excellence by demonstrating our values in everything you do. The role will be part-time, 32 hours/week across Monday-Friday (eg 5 days/week, shorter days).About You We’re looking for someone with: An understanding of bookkeeping processes and financial administration (mandatory). Experience in a similar finance or admin role (desirable). A proactive, self-motivated attitude to identify and complete tasks independently. Strong Excel and Microsoft365 skills; experience using Xero or similar accounting software is preferable. A customer-focused approach to supporting internal stakeholders. Excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to manage deadlines while handling distractions and competing priorities. A team player mindset to actively support colleagues.
