Financial Auditor with strong technical knowledge Work for an iconic government dept, part-time Financial Auditor / Finance Compliance Officer required. Your new role Support the delivery of the annual certification process in line with government policies and procedures. Contribute to the documentation of a risk-based internal control framework for financial systems and information. Review and update existing finance policies to ensure compliance with Accounting Standards and NSW Treasury Policies and mandates. Assist in the implementation of new policies as required. Document key financial internal controls. What you'll need to succeed You will need to be a CA/CPA qualified Accountant who is available immediately for part-time work. You must be able to travel to the Northshore 2/3 days per week and have excellent technical accounting skills and knowledge. Ideally, you will have worked for the NSW state government in the past and understand NSW financial policies and procedures. This role is a part-time (22.8 hours per week) temporary role for 6 months initially and could extend. The role is paying $50-55/hr + super depending on experience.
