The Finance Manager role focuses predominately on the continuous improvements and project delivery of changes and enhancement to the Lease Management and Administration functions. Being both a technical and project management role, the role would need to liaise heavily across Commercial, Networks, Group Finance and Retail property teams to drive changes, enhancements, efficiencies within FinOps and for our customers. Your day in the life of a Finance Manager (Leases) at Optus Partner and implement our customer’s financial requirements in line with regulatory and Optus strategic objectives. Ensure appropriate governance and processes around IFRS 16 are effectively and efficiently executed across the organisation. Engage in successful internal and external stakeholder relationships, ensuring a positive experience. Reporting and analysis on the effective and efficient management of Optus' vast lease portfolio, including both operational and senior management reporting. Anticipate, understand and deliver to the needs of the business in a streamlined and efficient manner that consistently provides valued services and insights. Your skills to pay the bills Strong technical accounting skills and understanding of accounting principles Excellent communication skills and ability to manage senior internal and external stakeholders Extensive experience handling high volumes of data CPA or other Accounting certifications A solution-oriented mindset and 'can-do' attitude Perks we love at Optus 3 days in the office, 2 days remote – with flexible hours to suit!
