$150,000 / $170,000 (Pro rated for 4 days) Are you a dynamic finance professional looking for a new, challenging and rewarding role? My client is the digital development arm of a global marketing group and they are looking for a finance leader to partner with the CEO and lead the Finance function as the agency is entering an exciting period of growth and has reached the point where a strong finance professional is needed on the ground in Australia.Spearheading financial management responsibilities, you will take a hands-on “best practice” approach and oversee all core financial BAU whilst ensuring revenue recognition compliance and month end reporting.This is a broad strategic and operational leadership role which will act as a true business partner to the CEO and FD, combining financial expertise with business acumen to drive organisational success and growth of the agency.Key Responsibilities: Will full visibility and ownership of the P&L - manage all financial operations, including Cash Flow, Job Management, Reconciliations and invoicing duties. Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Oversee the month-end close process, prepare monthly board reports, and manage statutory reporting and taxation. Implement cost reduction initiatives and enhance operational efficiency. Roll out improvements to systems, processes and procedures to enhance reporting and analysis capabilities. Assist the CEO and FD with financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and growth opportunities. Required experience / skills: A qualified accountant (CPA or CA or equivalent) with a minimum of five years of post-qualification experience. Strong experience in a fast-paced, multinational environment within an agency or commercial business. Excellent stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills. A proactive, self-driven attitude with a strong commitment to process and business improvements. High-level technical expertise and an interest in digital solutions to enhance efficiency. Why Join?
